Mark your calendars because the most delicious Sandy Springs event is just a few weeks away! Food That Rocks is an annual festival that features local eateries from the expanding and colorful restaurant scene of Sandy Springs. Live music and delicious food provide a weekend filled with local flavor and flair. This year’s event takes place September 23 to 25, 2021.
Food That Rocks is expanding to three nights and adding a Saturday session for even more opportunities to taste what Sandy Springs has to offer. Tickets provide access to unlimited bites, beverages and live music. Tickets are available for purchase at foodthatrocks.org.
Food That Rocks began with the idea of bringing community and entertainment together to support a worthy cause. A portion of each ticket sold allows a select number of COVID frontline healthcare and public safety workers to attend the event free of charge. Support and thank them for their hard work and sacrifice by purchasing a ticket today!
This year, Food That Rocks is asking attendees to bring non-perishable foods to the event as part of an effort to help replenish the Community Assistance Center (CAC) food bank. Every attendee that brings one of the approved non-perishable goods to the event is entered for the chance to win a culinary prize package awarded at the end of the event. Items requested include:
- Boxed Meals
- Cereal and Oatmeal
- Dried Beans
- Macaroni and Cheese
- Pasta
- Peanut Butter
- Rice
You can find more information about the Community Assistance Center at www.ourcac.org.
